Gainsharing, a key component of our compensation plan, allows all regular Progressive employees to receive a target percentage of their salary as a bonus that's based on how Progressive performs throughout the year. We believe in an even playing field, which is why every regular employee is automatically a participant in the Gainsharing program.
Gainsharing is based on how well we meet our objectives as an entire business. This approach involves both risk and opportunity, but we keep our goals in mind by providing monthly updates on Progressive's performance, as well as updates on how our performance affects our Gainshare payout. For an entry-level job, you could receive a Gainshare payout anywhere between 0 to 16 percent of your eligible earnings for that year.
