Claims Adjuster

As a claims adjuster, you will investigate, evaluate, estimate and settle both vehicle and bodily injury claims. Initially, you'll begin as a claims adjuster trainee. After you complete 12 weeks of training, you'll become a claims adjuster.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years combined relevant work experience and/or postsecondary education.
  • Relevant work experience includes one of the following:

    • Claims/property damage adjuster
    • Auto repair/body shop experience
    • A position requiring critical thinking, problem solving, planning/organizing activities, serving customers, negotiating, effective written and verbal communication, and embracing new challenges

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Claims Service Representative

As a claims service representative, you are primarily responsible for delivering the overall customer experience for customers who choose Progressive's concierge level of claims service.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Effective team player
  • At least 1 year prior customer service experience
  • Process-focused with ability to offer improvement ideas
  • Demonstrated experience in managing face-to-face customer interactions
  • Keyboard proficiency and PC knowledge
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

Medical Representative

As a medical representative, you will investigate and manage medical and wage loss claims with insureds, attorneys and medical providers. The required training takes approximately five weeks to complete.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant work experience includes one of the following:

    • Medical claims adjuster
    • A position requiring critical thinking, problem solving, planning/organizing activities, serving customers, negotiating, effective written and verbal communication, and embracing new challenge

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in managing face-to-face customer interactions
  • Keyboard proficiency and PC knowledge
  • Previous medical training or employment in a health related field is a plus
