We encourage Progressive people to maintain a balanced home and work life, which is why we provide you with time you can use for relaxation and personal obligations, such as:
- Earned Time Off — You choose how you spend the time off that you earned. Called ETB, or Earned Time Benefit, this time off can be used for vacation, personal days, sick time — whatever. Plus, your ETB rolls over from year to year rather than starting over each year.
- Enjoying Holidays — In addition to ETB, we give you six paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
- Attending funerals — When you have a death in your immediate family, we offer time to attend funerals so you can be with your loved ones during this difficult time.
- Serving on a jury — If you are called to jury duty, we support your community service by giving you paid time to fulfill your responsibility.
- Military service — We respect those of you who serve our country through the military. To support you and your family, we reserve your job for you when you are serving and, when possible, make up the difference between your military pay and Progressive pay for a period of time.
