Application Process
Progressive conveniently offers the option to apply for a job online — in fact, we received almost 270,000 applications in 2007. When you apply online, you simply choose one of the following options to send us your information:
- Submit your resume for a specific job posting, or
- Create an account and place your resume in our searchable recruiting database.
Once you submit your resume, we keep your information in our database for Progressive recruiters around the country to review. Our recruiters frequently search our database, so if you apply for a job but aren't selected for an interview, you still may be considered for another position in the future. We're always looking for eager, curious, dedicated candidates.
What To Expect after You Apply for a Job
After you submit your resume, you'll receive an e-mail within 48 hours that verifies we received your information for a specific job posting. If your qualifications meet the job requirements, we will contact you, generally within four weeks.
If you do not hear from us within four weeks, our recruiters most likely will not contact you for an interview. Though you may not qualify for one job, we do keep your resume on file, and we will contact you if we identify a position that better suits you and your qualifications.
What To Expect after You Create an Account
After you create an account, you'll receive an e-mail within 48 hours that verifies we received your resume. We keep your information in our database and recruiters search it to find qualified candidates to fill open positions. If your qualifications match an open job, a recruiter will contact you and advise you of the next steps in the interview process.
